Our client, an internationally funded and inclusive NPC, seeks to employ a qualified and experienced Financial Manager to join their vibrant and professional team in Cape Town.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO REQUIRE A CANDIDATE WITH A BACKGROUND IN THE NPC AND/OR HOSPITALITY SECTOR, WHO IS ABLE TO FUNCTION EFFECTIVELY UNDER PRESSURE, UNDERSTAND THE HIGH VOLUMES AND LEGALITIES OF AN NPC, AS WELL AS BE ABLE TO MANAGE MULTIPLE PROJECTS AND TASKS
KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:
- You will have completed a degree in Finance/Accounting, coupled with completed Articles (CA is advantageous), and 10+ years experience in a Financial Management role specifically in the NPC, NGO or Hospitality sector.
- You will have experience in GAAP standards, as well as preparing financial statements, taking full responsibility for banking processes, payroll and overseeing payments for bookings/events and point of sale systems.
- A key component of this role, where you will demonstrate exceptional experience is in annual budget preparations, cashflow projects variance reporting and general financial management reporting.
- You will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a variety of stakeholders and international funders, as well as outsourced service providers and vendors.
- Experience on Xero or Pastel is essential.
- Travelling to Paarl weekly will form part of the function, therefore you must be willing and flexible to travel between office
- You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
