Ops Coordinator/Controller


Requirements

Our client, a leading electrical services company, specializing in the electrical projects and maintenance fields, specifically in the petro-chem maintenance and construction, seeks to employ an organized, multi-tasker to join their ops team at their operation in East Rand, Johannesburg.  

 

This is a fast paced, constantly changing working environment where your high level of organization, self-management and multi-tasking is key.

 

Your team or reporting client may not necessarily be in the same region as you will be operating, it is therefore vital that you have excellent communication skills and fluency in English.

 

You need to be a deadline driven candidate, you need to ensure you work with the teams to meet the clients’ requirements and jobs are closed out timeously

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:

 

  • You will have completed Matric, coupled with 5 years experience in providing support and coordinating operations administration, specifically in a technical/electrical environment, specifically receiving job cards / work orders, allocating work order onto the system and distributing to the correct team
  • You will have experience in assisting with ordering the material required, as well as receiving material and allocating to teams for projects/job orders.
  • You will ensure teams arrive on site timeously and close out work orders within the agreed time frame (SLA Agreements in place), as well as ensure technicians upload correct information, findings, and photos onto the Operations Platform and accurately with the client on their systems
  • You will have experience in assist with drafting quotes, invoices and reports
  • You will be required to work on a rotating stand by shift basis, therefore you will have your own reliable transport and valid driver’s license
  • Due to the position of trust, you will have a clear criminal, credit record, with contactable references
