Our client, a multi-disciplinary construction and engineering group, seeks to employ a certified and registered Master Installation Electrician to join their team, on a 3 year fixed term contract, on projects in eMalahleni (Wibank).
This role is specific to candidates who are currently registered with a valid Master Installation certification and no other qualification will be considered.
Essential criteria to meet in order to be considered:
You must have completed a recognized Electrical trade test and have a valid Master Installation Electrician certification, registered with the ECA or DOL
In addition, you will have 5-10 years experience as an MIE working on large installation and commissioning projects, in a hazardous, power generation or construction environment
Your sound knowledge of Health and Safety, compliance and inspections to authorize COC’s, as well as ensuring work at height permits and other requirements are met
A natural, self-motivated and astute ability to self manage and take responsibility for the company’s technical performance is essential
You must have your own, reliable vehicle and be willing to work on site for a 3 year period to follow up on installations, manage commissioning projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
