Regional Operations Manager (Electrical)


Requirements

Our client, a well-established electrical services company, specializing in small to medium sized electrical projects and maintenance, specifically in the petro-chem maintenance and construction sector, seeks to employ a qualified and suitable candidate for their branch in Johannesburg

 

This is a fast paced, constantly changing working environment where your high analytical and problem-solving skills will be optimized and where you can fully utilize your planning, staff and organisational management abilities in order to drive operations and service within the region.

 

This is not a large company, focused on mega sized projects but rather focusses on between 100 – 150 small to medium projects, therefore, you will have a background in facilities or electrical contracting will be ideal.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:

  • You will have completed a Tertiary qualification in business, operations or be a trade tested Electrician, coupled with a minimum of 5 years experience in the management of technical/electrical service teams, ideally in a construction/electrical or facilities management.
  • You will have a proven track record in operations planning, preparing estimates, costing of projects and ensuring the highest standards are delivered in terms of customer SLA’s.
  • You will have excellent communication skills, be an adept problem solver and be able to expertly manage between 8-10 small electrical teams for maintenance projects across KwaZulu Natal
  • You will be results driven, a natural people leader, organised, meticulous and have a high stress tolerance, able to thrive under pressure.
  • You will have advanced Excel and MS Projects software proficiency
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in the electrical contractor or petro-chemical maintenance sector
